Before I start YES MARIO IS MOVED! I can finally read my text!

You know I used to grow up thinking life sucked. Not in a "I wanna end it all" way but in a "I wish it was better". I feel like a lot of people do this, life isn't as good to everyone as they want it to be. They overlook so much and focus heavily on the negatives. Lately, I been haunted be a lingering presence and just yesterday I decided to seek help. I'm not seeking sympathy points AT ALL, god damn you guys don't do that shit. I have been informed that I have cancer now. It's actually a decent size so all my doctors are rushing me around to start treatments right away. They keep telling me we'll get past it, but you never know if they lieing ya'know. So now of course my entire family is up in my shit tryin to make sure I don't die! So annoying I swear! But yeah guys, life is pretty good, cuz you know... you could always be fighting for your life.

A lot of people been treatin me different now, shit sucks. Everyone seems to go out of their way now just for me, I hate that so much. Of course so many questions all the time. Obviously everyone asks if I'm scared. I say nay. This is an issue in which I cannot do more than I already have. I have changed my way of living in one day and started all sorts of doctor shit. What happens will happen, so I just don't worry about it. My friends and family are probably 100x more worried than I am, it's pretty bad. So yeah, pretty crazy two days I've had. I always figured I'd die in my 60's from a heart attack like every male on my moms side of the family. So I can't let this cancer take me out so soon :|.

TL;DR Life could be worse, you could be Xenos or iRage instead. BAM! lol.

Look Xenos is a bitch to talk to because he's a troll and he discards any constructive criticism as trolling. So I'll blog a bit about my thoughts on GU so that others can give their input. This is not a rant -_-.

----------------------------------------------------

First up is the website layout/design. No offense to whoever made this but it looks sloppy. I'm a big "less is more" guy and it's a bit painful seeing everything thrown on there like it is. I think it needs better organization. You seem to want to do a lot with this website so maybe a bit of prioritizing is in order. You got your reviews at the bottom of the page, headlines near the top. What are headlines? Are those articles or they reviews? I ask that question because someone will ask it. Gaming unleashed facebook? Do you really need that at the very top? Hell do you really need ALL of that on the front page? I highly urge you to consider what you do with your main page. It is what makes and breaks a website.

----------------------------------------------------

Coloring. It's not a huge deal but I once again urge you to consider. A lot of people do like the whole dark scheme with websites. The only problem is it does cause reading issues. Ever wonder why majority of websites use light schemes, that's mostly why. I personally never use a dark website because it truly is difficult for me to read things with a dark background, even if text is white. Hell white text black back makes it worse. So how about a recolor and/or user color scheme choice. Don't forget about color blindness when choosing colors . I personally hate the coloring of this site, it makes the front page look way dirtier and crowded than it actually is. Something else to consider, darker colors make things seem clustered, brighter colors don't.

----------------------------------------------------

Post a blog! Seriously could not find this button without being told. Neither could Tye. No doubt many more will never find it as well.

----------------------------------------------------

Mario. Xenos completely blew me off when I said this, which just proves he's a bad owner. Mario should not be behind the text box. This fucks with my vision when reading so much. Xenos, you have to learn that you're not the important one here, it's the people using your website. I strongly urge you to reconsider where Mario is standing.

----------------------------------------------------

Not really as big of an issue but still annoying. The Nav is confusing. Home, Main, Profile. I can't tell you how much I've clicked Profile to enter Main and Main to get to Homepage. I advise a change up with the Main/Profile setup. Home is fine as long as nothing conflicts with it. Main and Home to me are the same thing.

----------------------------------------------------

Figure out what causes the picture resizing issue. It's annoying refreshing to use a page. You'll seriously lose people with that.

----------------------------------------------------

News. Sub categories will help tremendously.

----------------------------------------------------

Blogs. RESIZE PICTURES. Possibly rework the layout of this section. The current layout is going to really suck if the website takes off. Needs better organization or something. I don't do blogs much but I know a single list of posted blogs is a bad idea.

----------------------------------------------------

Games/Reviews. Once again organization. We need sub categories gentlemen. You will get absolutely no where as it is now. You'll need a search function and all that fun shit.

----------------------------------------------------

Final words. You need to understand that we're in a generation now that needs to be spoon fed. You need to have features readily available and a site that is easy to navigate. If it takes someone more than 5 minutes to find a game with your browsing feature, they will leave. Think over what I've said a bit. I've seen firsthand many websites just like yours with people just like yourselves fail. Your entering a world that already has many reliable websites. You need to step up in order to even think about competing with them. If you don't you'll get brushed aside with the hundreds of other wannabe game sites.

Wow been awhile. I’ll admit I pretty much just didn’t feel about blogging since I’ve already did this blog series before :3. Anyways here is the rest of the brain bit.

Alright I the previous blog I put up explained muscle memory and what it is. This next bit is also key to how we improve muscle memory with things like video games. Allow me to throw some words at you then upon reading them you can decide to leave or not (if you already haven’t).

1)Visual-Spatial Cognitive
2)Kinetic Vision

So what do these do with muscle memory? Allow me to elaborate as best as I can & as shortly as possible!

Visual-spatial cognitive is a really long topic to do. All you need to know is that it’s what people refer to when they say “Hand-Eye Coordination”. In order to improve your muscle memory you must first train this. Your brain needs to be able to register everything your eyes send to it. I won’t go too deep into this because it’s not needed for now. The way you improve this is by simply living, lol. When you’re training muscle memory for a video game you are also training all of this.

Kinetic Vision is the one few have heard of and surprising amounts say it’s impossible. Us video gamers though have experience this quite a bit I bet. Kinetic vision in a nut shell is simple; it’s the ability to see fast moving objects at a slower rate. Sounds impossible to a lot of people apparently, but those people never touched a rhythm game. This is the grand daddy of all skills you need to learn in gaming. This is what separates the casuals from competitive players. How do you improve this? Just push yourself into trying to mentally register quickly moving objects. Your brain will want to stop when it feels like it learned enough, but just push thru that. I’m not talking like throwing something into ludicrous speed, just… find something you think is fast (yet doable) and practice with it. Eventually that will appear slow and you’ll be able to move onto faster things. Ever wonder how people are able to react so quickly in an FPS game? This is partially why, and they don’t even know it.

So how does it all tie together? If you haven’t figured it out yet, it’s easy.

-Deep breath-
Kinetic vision registers hyper speed visuals at a slower rate so that your hand-eye coordination can do its job figuring out distances to move your mouse which it then relays to your brain which engraves the movement onto your nervous system for future reference!
-Gasp-

That is how it all works without going into heavy details on everything!

Now I’m going back blogging about improving vidya game skillz. I named this bit knowledge is power because I thought it fit well :), even if it was lame. Improving our brains muscle memory gives us the ability to do other shit easier, thus knowledge is power.
